Mahogany Wood is used for its rich reddish-brown tone and fine, close grain, which takes detail well on a panel this size.
A natural varnished finish is applied in layers and hand-buffed between coats to bring out the depth of the mahogany.
A panel of this size typically takes about 4 weeks including carving, sanding and the final finish coats.
The panel with a rear hanging fitting, a care card, and protective packing for transit.
Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the finish tone; dust with a soft dry cloth only.
This design is also available carved slightly larger for use as a main altar centrepiece — ask us for sizing options.
